WOFEX is the Ph.D. student workshop of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (FEECS), VŠB - Technical University of Ostrava. The sixteenth PhD workshop relates on previous successful years and the main mission is still to enable to exchange experiences among students and supervisors. It is expected a presentation of the work of full-time as well as part-time PhD students. The workshop will take place on 10th September, 2018. Students will present the results achieved during their study on the workshop. Contributions must be written solely in English. The contributions will be published in the workshop proceedings, which will be published before the actual workshop in electronic form.

A few number of the best papers will be selected and the PhD students will be awarded with the dean of the faculty. The selection is done with a committee including guarantors of PhD study fields and the vice dean for research and PhD study of the faculty.
